CERACLAD exterior siding panels are a long lasting, energy and resource efficient product. Consisting of more than 50% recycled material, the panels are 100% recyclable and contain no asbestos. A super weather resistant ceramic coating minimizes degradation of the exterior wall structure and controls color fading caused by exposure to UV rays so CERACLAD siding panels retain their "new" appearance longer, and the exterior wall structure lasts longer, too.
The ceramic coating of CERACLAD siding panels allows building owners to refrain from using environmentally harmful products or excessive amounts of water to maintain the clean appearance of the building. The ventilation layer allows the trapped heat in the exterior wall structure to escape into the environment, helping to maintain consistent temperatures inside the building and reducing energy consumption.
Recycling Initiative
In order to meet the increasing market demand for environmentally sound products, KMEW, the manufacturer of CERACLAD exterior siding, has established a recycling initiative in Japan. In it, excess material at installation sites is collected and transported back to one of the nearby KMEW facilities. There, gathered material is processed and recycled into new exterior siding and roofing material.
In our manufacturing plants in Japan, all waste water discharged from the manufacturing process is appropriately treated by the latest waste water treatment facilities and reused as much as possible. The use of advanced cogeneration systems with higher thermal efficiency empowers the plants to continue operating while maintaining a strong commitment to the conservation of energy.
