• CERACLAD Siding panels need to be fastened with the provided screws on minimum 1/2" Plywood/OSB sheathing.
• With steel construction, minimum 1/2" Plywood/OSB sheathing needs to be fastened to 20 GA minimum steel studs before fastening the CERCLAD panels with the provided screws to the Plywood/OSB sheathing.
• By fire code, for any building that requires fire-prevention construction, minimum 1/2" Plywood/OSB sheathing needs to be installed on the studs. Glass Mat Gypsum Substrate that meets ASTM standards (Designation C1177/C 1177M-06), needs to be installed over the Plywood/OSB sheathing. CERACLAD siding panels can be fastened through Grass Mat Gypsum Substrate with provided screws using recommended installation methods.
